Anyone working on Classe E AM/SW Transmitters?
http://www.classeradio.com/

The fet's are cheap.

this is a SW transmitter 6.3 Mhz pirate band. with programmable ocsilator 1-100 mhz true USB.
into 74hc240 wich drives the FET IRF510 (15 watt)

So you guys work with that too? cause it's cheap an high power like 1 KW in Hexfet Classe E.

no yet, but i am looking for an amplifier which can amplify a weak r.f output from a pll (mw band 522-1611 KHz) [50 mw approximately] and which can provide at least 2 watt r.f power. (5 watt is ok)
do you have any relative schematic with details?? if yes, then attach it here.
i have tried to experiment with the IRF series but the result wasn't very good.

the IRF510 can produce 10 a 15 watt with 500 mw drive.

i found some links for you
this is AM

You can also connect the PLL to a 74hc240 wich gives 500 mw to 1 watt.
and drive it direct to a fet like irf 510 with low pass filter.

here is the original schematic http://www.qsl.net/lu8eha/
